The year 2011 is coming to a close and I’m reflecting on what a wonderful year it turned out to be. There were many ups and downs and things learned, but overall 2011 was a good year for me and my family. My blog has changed or evolved, it’s my creative outlet, but it came with some growing pains this year. I had to learn how to keep this hobby in check much like we all do with something we love to do. I also had to remember why I do this blog, not for comments or just self fulfillment but also a place to keep my recipes for my kids someday. Keeping the why’s in mind I began to post recipes less frequently than I used to do but hopefully with better content with less mistakes. At times it is hard to get it all right when you are the developer, cook, photographer, writer, publisher, etc., so please forgive the mistakes.
Friends and family sometimes think I’m nuts for spending so much time on this blog, but what can I say “we all are a little nuts about something”. Cooking happens to be one of those hobbies that if not shared then what’s the use, right? I like to share my love of cooking with family, friends and all of you, I also like to see how it makes them happy, then it makes me happy too :). Now, on with the list of top recipes that was generated by the number of clicks each received, a few were surprising to me and may also be to you too. The count down starts at 7 , if you have made any of these and have a comment about how it turned out or how it could be better then go ahead and let me know and the rest who read my blog know. Enjoy the end of 2011 and may you all have a wonderful 2012!
