I feel like I need to explain a few things to my regular readers. If you have tried to leave a comment you will have noticed it is no longer available. I’m probably the only food blogger who doesn’t have a comments section available. This is not because I don’t like comments but after some self realization, I was becoming somewhat dependent on comments to keep me going. In other words, my reasoning behind doing my blog became clouded and I was feeling good if I received lots of comments and not so good if none or only a few were given. I know seems ridiculous right, but it is the reality of regular bloggers who begin to have a good following of readers. So to get myself back on track as to why I began this site I have shut off the comments section for now. I know your first thought might be “what if I have a question”, I am still available through email at suzanne@you-made-that.com , plus 2 social media sites Twitter and Facebook.
Another change is Sunday Spotlight Recipes have been discontinued. I personally enjoyed the different recipes available but it wasn’t catching on to other food bloggers so it got the axe 🙂
Food blogging is a world of its own and it is fun but can become overwhelming and time consuming if not kept in check. I have changed the frequency of my posting, in hopes of quality content, recipes, and photos. I do love blogging about food and the creative outlet it is for me so don’t think I’m quiting or anything.
Lastly, I do want to thank those of you who do read and try out the recipes, I hope you continue to do so. Look forward to a healthy snack coming just in time for Summer.
